Do it Yourself
| Well, my wonderful husband just saved us the cost of a new washing machine. While he was trying to take the back off, he asked me to google our make and model of washing machine. I did and while I was scrolling through the sites, I found one that had a question about what to do when the spin cycle stops working. I went through the responses and found one where someone said that when their spin cycle and agitator stopped working, it just took a $14 coupler and 5 minutes to fix. People were responding with "Oh my goodness! I spent $134 plus labor on having someone come out and do it," and "Oh, I wish I had seen this! I went out and bought a new machine!" So, we found a store (about 1/2 hour away) that carried the part we needed, drove there, bought the part, and brought it home. Sure enough, 5 minutes later, the washer is working good as new. :) Aaaahhh...time to do some laundry! (Oh, I never thought I'd say that with a smile) |
