Phewf!!!  Summer is finally here.  Today was the last day of school, and man, was I ready for it.  I've spent the last few weeks coordinating our 8th grade graduation.  350 14 year olds, 2500 parents and family members coming to watch in a huge ice arena.  The kids had to stand and sit at the exact same time, conduct themselves with dignity, give speeches, accept awards...it's quite a show.  And yet, I was able to get it all together and have everyone in and out in one hour exactly.  So again, I say Phewf!

So, I have tomorrow off, but I'll be cleaning the house to get it ready for a party we are hosting for my parents on Saturday night.  Then, next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, I'm writing curriculum at school, and on Thursday, I'm meeting with my counselors in training.  Friday I have off and camp starts on Monday 7/2.  So, I guess all in all, I have two days off before I start working again.  Lucky me...I hope I don't get too lazy in all my free time. :)

Kids are doing well.  Julia finished Kindergarten yesterday and is ready for 1st grade.  Matthew is transitioning to the next phase room in daycare.  Patrick...well, Pat's having a bit of a time, lately.  Two was fine for Patrick.  Three is turning out to be quite a challenge.  He's been very aggressive and angry lately, and we don't know why.  Nothing has changed here at home.  We aren't reacting any differently to him than we used to, so we have no idea what is going on.  It's very frustrating.
