Make a Difference - Ya mean me?!
Make a Difference - Ya mean me?!

Yep, that’s exactly who I mean. ![]()
There are so many things that we, as housewives can do to make a difference in the lives of others.
Now, what I’m talking about is other than just for our own families; I’m talking about helping the less fortunate among us.
Matthew 25:14-30 says that we are to use our talents, not to bury them!
Excuse-busters.* There is the "but I’m too busy, I don’t have time."

In response to that, I’d have to say that only you can decide what is most important to you and know what your priorities are.
Remember however, that we are to use our talents; not to bury them!
We can all do something [even if we make 15 minutes a day, at the end of the week
- it still does add up!] and is much better than not doing anything at all.
What sort of talents do you have that you can use for God’s glory?
We all have something to give and Jesus has told us to do just that;
Matthew 25:40 ... "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

Do you drive? Why not see if an elderly neighbor could use a ride to the store?
Do you like to write and are good at it? How about writing something to encourage others?
Samaritan’s Purse [fill a box for Operation Christmas Child?] or perhaps donate $5.00 to pay for postage for these boxes to reach the children?
Perhaps if you don’t know how to do crafts but would like to learn, this would be a wonderful opportunity for you to do so.
Not only will you be filled with a sense of satisfaction in learning something new,
but also you will benefit as well as you’re filled with joy, knowing that you’ve made a difference in someone else’s life.

* Guidepost sweater project
* Make a child smile [cards to sick children]
* Call a lonely older person to just talk awhile
The cost of using your talents?* A little time
* A little money
* A heart over-flowing with God’s love
The value of obeying God’s Word and blessing others?
Priceless!
