Saddened, but not Surprised
I don't even know where to begin this entry......a little background on my situation....my parents very graciously bailed us out a couple of months ago with our credit card bills as a loan to keep us from filing for bankruptcy. The PROBLEM is that now every time we don't do everything according the THEIR plan, there are aggravations and confrontations.
I know that Dave Ramsey has always said that borrowing from family makes the relationship take on that of a master/slave, but for SOME odd reason, I never thought it would happen to us. Well, today the stuff hit the fan and now our relationship is very strained with my parents.
What we are going to do, I am not sure at this point, but I know we need to get them paid back ASAP! I can't have this thing looming over my head like this. We are going to look at loan options and hopefully can come up with something agreeable....I just HATE this!
Sorry, I'm not usually so negative, but it makes me angry that my parents have tried to bulldoze over us ever since they loaned us the money. Well, I guess I learned a valuable lesson which I will never forget.

Big hug Andrea. I know I'd have a hard time buttoning my lip if I loaned someone money. I'm not in your shoes but I'd take any job I could to pay this loan off and not have this hanging over me & the people I love. Not saying you aren't trying your best or dissing you, just saying it's a lessoned learn & move on as quick as you can.
You can make this better. And I'll be your biggest cheerleader if you want.
Thank you

Thanks, Darlene....I didn't think you were dissing me or anything. I just feel so torn arpart. Trouble is, I am working AND going to school, and DH is getting ready to go to school with a heavy schedule. He won't be able to take a job on until January except for computer work here and there. I guess whatever funds we bring in will immediately have to be turned over to them. I can't stand living like this!!! Thanks for being a cheerleader!!!!

It'll be tough, but you'll get through it eventually. I agree...I'd start doing everything I could to bring in some extra cash to get it all squared away. Best of luck, and I'm with Darlene in cheering you on!

Bless your heart, you are in a tough situation. I know it seems awful now, but this too shall pass. I always tell myself this when I am in a difficult situation....this too shall pass. And it does, most times not as fast as I would like for it to, but it does pass and I am usually a stronger person afterward.
