Dds visit to the dr. yesterday.....

Well I don't know what to think! The dr. gave dd a weeks worth of pills for her stomach, she takes 2 in the morning 15 minutes before she can eat anything.

The dr. also made an arrangement for her to see a psychologist....if the pills and the psychologist do not work then she will run tests on her......I just don't get it! How does that make her dizzy and faint? How does one have low blood pressure from stress? I can understand that if she were stressed her stomach would hurt etc but...why not run tests now?

She has to go back in Jan to see the dr.  I guess apparently dd does have some stress...she seemed happy at home and I know that she is upset with Dh and me for the fact that she feels we are over protective , we don't let her go shopping in the big malls for example with her friends , we always make sure that their is an adult present. We just started letting dd 15 go to the malls with her friends if there are around 4 or 5 and only durring the daytime not in the evenings. Other then that, Dh and I take them shopping and I go into the shops with them while Dh does a crossword book while sitting on a bench in the mall. We basically make an afternoon of it. In the summers we sometimes make a whole day of it and then go on a picnic.

We left the room when the dr. asked if she was stressed about anything, they were speaking in french but Dh is fluent in french and when Samantha said well, yes that she did have some stress Dh said that we would leave the room so that they could talk and I totally agreed on that one.

I was trying to rack my mind on what she would be stressed about and it must be with her friends, she was bullied at school for the longest time, about 1 1/2 years ago now I had had it with the school and their procedures so in April of 2005 I took her out of school and she didn't go back until Sept. 2005. We did some homeschooling at home but here it is so hard to do. The laws here are such that I have to teach exactly what the school in our district is teaching......I couldn't get all of the books in which I needed from the schools teachers and the ones in which I did have like for math......noone would give me the answer sheet to it. The teacher said to me that it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. I tried to explain that I had been out of school for over 20 years and that everything has changed so much since my day in school. I didn't have the updated courses like they had. Oh well that is in the past now and behind us...

Well I guess there is nothing much else to update on with her health......She already has had blood work etc done on her from when she fainted that time and the dr. at the hospital said she was fine that he felt she took a drop in blood pressure where it is low already......The dr. at the walk in clinic said she was fine but she had low blood pressure and I guess our family dr. thinks that dd is fine as well.

If anything new occurs I will post and updated Entry. Thanks to All for the Prayers etc....this really means alot to us and I truly thank you all from my heart

I know what a worry it is when our kids aren't feeling well. I will keep your daughter and your family in my prayers.
