Today was just a plain old normal day. The kind of day that I love. lol I was up at 5:30 showered then got Michell up. I start getting ready for work then get the other 3 kids up at 6:30. Michell has to catch the bus at 6:55. Then I'm out the door by7 and a neighbor keeps an eye on the other 3. Dh comes home at 7:45 and takes the kids to school then goes to bed. I came home at lunch ate threw a load of clothes in and made a phone call to a local restuarant and scored some gift certificates for the fall fundraiser at the school. I went back to work and got home at 4:45. I played outside with the kids and talked with a neighbor for about and hour then reheated potato soup for dinner and took Logan to soccer practice. Dh got up and spent some time with the girls then he headed off to work. He works 7:30pm to 7:30am. I got home gave baths helped kids with homework and then put them to bed after they went to bed I sat down and watched csi miami my fav csi. Now I am ready for a much needed good nights sleep. Nobody has any games or practices tomorrow so we get to spend the evening together (dh has to work though boohoo). I wonder how in the world I am going to get anything packed with this schedule.

When I was a sahm I never looked forward to weekends so much. They were nice but now by the time Thursday rolls around I am so ready to be at home and spend time with mike and the kids. We have made a big decision regarding finances. We are moving we just need something cheaper and we were all a little upset, but the first house we looked at we fell in love with. So it looks like we will be moving about the 15th. The younger kids will have to switch schools but they are taking it really well and they do so much extra stuff that they will still get lots of time with their friends. So today we had 2 soccer games. Logan and Brandi both played really good games. Brandi enjoys soccer, but Logan LIVES for it. He plays so hard he looks like he will just throw up. He takes his gear off and the sweat pores off of his chin guards. I just love seeing him develop into a good player and it is so enjoyable to watch him do something he loves so much. I truly beleive that sports are important to the kids. They know they have to keep their grades up to do them so it is a nice incentive for them and I just feel like it gives them something to focus on as they get older and they have to face so many pressures. On the other hand some parents are just ridiculous. I see mothers and fathers who just push push push. You can tell these kids are not having fun and the parents are screaming at them. Ok I am off of that soap box. After the soccer games we came home and I cut Logans hair and the kids just played while dh and I just relaxed. Brandi went horse back riding with friends and then spent the night and then Michell was invited to a friends house and she went there to spend the night. Its amazing how much time those 2 spend with friends or on the phone that time when they are little really does go too fast. We are going to see the free movie tomorrow and then do the laundry and some cleaning and get ready for the new week.

Well it has been crazy around here this week and I am not accomplishing being frugal or getting organized. We have also decided to move. The neighborhood we live in has really changed over the last few years and we need to find something else. We are looking to rent for atleast the next year then look to buy again. I must be glutton for punishment because I love to move. I guess I like the fresh start and my dad was in the army so moving to me was always just a way of life. I dont have much time for blogging tonight Brandi has soccer then her and Michell have cheer. Dh works tonight so I will put the kids to bed and then have the house to myself for some much needed relaxation.

Getting used to working full time after being at home or just part time for almost 8 years has really been a chore. I enjoy working and I am loving my new job, but all I can think about is how much stuff needs to be done at home and how I am not getting it done. I really think this blog will be a way for me to share what I am doing to get my house and spending in control. Today I have put together a binder with dividers. I have the following catagories: pending dd1 dd2 ds1 dd3 household grocery for each if the kids I will be hole punching the things that come home that I need access to all the time, like sports schedules classroom newletters and other things. Yesterday was a fun family day. We had 2 soccer games in the morning then dh had to come home and go to bed.(he works nights) Then we went to my company picnic, me and dd1 were in a 3 legged race! It gave me the idea to do a simple old fashioned game like party for dd2 bday. After that we cam home had some lunch and finished up any homework then headed to the annual Art in the Park that our town puts on. Today has been spent at home working on household chores and laundry. I am making some brownies and I need to run to the store in just a little while. I am putting some chili in the crockpot for dh lunches this week. I want to also make some meatballs for meatball subs too. Our lunches are really a budget buster and it is something I really want to get under control. I also want to blog about goals and my steps to obtain them. I have really wnet back and forth on frugality and being a spendthrift. I know that if I blog these goals I am more apt to reach them so here goes. I am doing small goals so that I will feel a faster pay off then I will move on to them. Monthly goals to accomplish by Oct. 27 *Start an emergency fund by putting $25.00 in a savings account *Start a new routine for chores for the kids the old one we have been doing for awhile and the kids are getting pretty burnt out. *Put together the notebook I wrote about earlier *Arrange a chore routine for myself that will work with the new job *Not buy any new clothes for myself *Go through the kids winter clothes and make a list of anything they may need *Only eat out once every other week I am sure I will be adding to this list as the month goes on
