August 7, 2007 - Turning His Life Around

My heart is breaking for friends of ours.  Their son is the same age as our older boys.  He was in the same class as my oldest, and they were really good friends in high school.  I often said I had 4 boys because he spent so much time over here, or with one or the other of the boys, or both.  They have all gone their own directions, some good decisions.  And some not so good ones.  Our friends told us that they took their son to a town a few miles from here, and he would be there for 90 days.  Court ordered.   He didn't come right out and say it, but I'm sure it is a drug rehab place. Its been a long hard road for them, with an even longer one ahead of them and him. I just pray that where he is will be a tool to help turn his life around.
