I am a 49 year old woman who is happily married. I am also a mom, grandma, friend, niece, co-worker, church secretary and truck dispatcher’s wife and secretary. In my spare time, I love to blog, do book studies, scrapbook, read, pen pals, and crochet.

No Sleep
| I don't know which is worse -- taking Lasix for water retention, or have to take a colon cleanser. I know they both have their purpose, but I'm thinking the later is just a one or two step process and you are done. I am having a terrible time with water retention this spring, and it just seems like the Lasix I'm taking takes 3 or 4 hours to kick in, but then when it does ... 2 dozen trips to the bathroom later, I'm OK for the time being. But then the next day, I'm right back where I started. I have a doctor'a appointment on the 10th, so I will bring this to his attention. I probably should call him sooner, and if it doesn't get better, I probably will. But for right now, I guess I'll just deal with it. And try to remember to take it earlier in the day. Yesterday we had a family reunion, and it was 3:00 in the afternoon before I had a chance to take it. It didn't kick in until 9:00 last night, and then I was up at least 6 times to go pee during the night. Not fun at all. |
