I am a 49 year old woman who is happily married. I am also a mom, grandma, friend, niece, co-worker, church secretary and truck dispatcher’s wife and secretary. In my spare time, I love to blog, do book studies, scrapbook, read, pen pals, and crochet.

For a Reason
| As always, the weekend has flown by entirely too fast. I have my work cut out for me, at both places that I work. My morning boss is going to be gone the majority of June -- and one of the things in my job description is that he or his wife proofread everything I put out for publication. Which means I need not only do I have this weeks stuff to do, but next weeks as well. He will be gone towards the end of the month as well, but he is going to be home one week inbetween the two times, so I can have the end of the month ready for him then. I know working for the church or for a trucking company cannot compare to many of the jobs that the world has to offer, from San Francisco jobs, to those working in the Virginia coal mines, or a rigging company out in the ocean. I am happy where I am, doing what I do, and believe that I am where I am, doing what I am doing, for a reason. |
