Christianity for me is a BIG deal business.  Being raised as a catholic, my family is a devoted follower of Christ.  I want to raise my child the way my parents did to us…  I want her to grow with GOD, and to be a better and responsible person.

On the humid day of Saturday, a little baby became Christian.

She is already nine (9) months and three (3) days old when she was baptized.  She was baptized by Rev. Fr. Semene.  It was held in Sto. Parish Church, Poblacion, Kinoguitan, Misamis Oriental, around 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon on October 19, 2008.

Ingenious Costumes of First Ever COSTPLAY in CDOC!

August 16, 2008 was a remarkable day.  After three days of my little one’s confinement in Polymedic Hospital, I have two more day left to prepare for our costplay.  This would be the first costume party I wouldn’t want to miss and the first event costplay here in the Cagayan de Oro City.  My colleagues were two busy choosing their costumes weeks ago and I pick mine a day before my baby got sick and hospitalized.  Too bad, I have so very little time to prepare and I decide not to join anymore.  I could go with halloween costumes (and it’s three months away from November) since it’s easy to set up than an anime attire which the host announce as a theme.  Maybe I could go with scary attire and I plan not to take off my mask so that they wouldn’t recognize me in an alien outfit.  At least I would stand out at a crowd in that way, but just thinking of it and I lost the gut to do it.  Acting is scarier than I thought.

So I’ve decided to forego my chosen outfit.  With two days left, it’s impossible to collect my accessories and my main costume still needs to be sew.  So I ask my mother to do it for me.  Two hours ride to my hometown and that’s all I’ve got.  I need to gamble on this one.  I travel from 1:00PM on August 14, 2008 and I arrive about 3:00-4:00PM.  My mom finished it about 11:00AM the next day and I traveled two hours back to the city and I have so very little time to gather the rest of my accessories.  I wanted to bring my little Zoe along and she needs baby costumes in the process.  Since she’s still an infant, I wanted to dress her as a cherub but she just got out from the hospital and I can’t afford her to be sick again.  Tsk, tsk, tsk…  I wouldn’t risk her health for anything.  Maybe she could come with me when she grows a little bigger, and I’ll wait for that day.

There’s always a first time and my first costplay turned out well enough for me.

She’s getting younger!

An eyebrow is one of the many factors that can affect the way you look.  This can determine youth.  Now that I have a child, I’m concern about how I look, whether I’m more mature or young, it’s important that I still look pretty.  Since I’m content with my brow, my friend who needs to lift hers is trying to pluck or shave her brow in order to look young.  We are of the same age but she looked years older than me.  Now that she’s already base in New York as a nurse she sent me one of her photos taken from the hospital after her shift.  Wow!  I can’t believe the dramatic changed in her by courtesy of New York City Brow Lifts.  So, she seek professional help and with the used of high technology, she achieve her longed time dream without plucking or shaving.  She’s still single and I must say she’s getting younger!
