The good life

The first day..

So I started my new job yesterday. I think it will be alright! I got a fulltime position, so thats 40 hours a week. The pay is so much better than what I'm used to, but I haven't seen a paycheck yet so I'm waiting in anticipation! The incentives for working overtime are insane! Rumor has it that they pay you double time! I'm only used to regular time! Also, at one point, for every hour you work OT, they give you $20 gift certificates to the mall or for gas! OMG! Also, if you work 10 hours, they'll give you an iPod! Thats so nuts! But I don't even know anything about the place yet since it was only my first training shift, but it seems to have alot of potential.

We also find out if we get this new apartment we applied for today! I really hope we do! We need something that isnt a disgusting den of crack addicts. I was so impressed when I viewed it. The lobby was clean, I mean immaculately clean. 3 elevators, security (actual paid security guards), indoor pool, gym, etc. The apartment was smaller than what we have now, but thats ok, because we're getting rid of a lot of stuff we dont need when we move. Most of our closets are filled with stuff we haven't looked at since we moved in here. We obviously don't need it.

So my goals today are to get the house clean before work, make Jesse some dinner. I think thats it so far!
