Hints:
A FUNNY HINT FOUND IN AN OLD RECIPE BOOK-- for garlic breath chew a few grains of tea or coffee grounds--    wonder if rinsing your mouth with coffee or tea would work the same?  LOL

deprssion potato soup

I saw this recipe and thought this looks good so I tried it

I used chicken stock in place of the water and remember

to add the milk when soup is done-

heat to a near boil again- remove bay leaf --this soup can be adjusted to your own

number of servings--

Depression Potato Soup
4 potatoes diced
1 carrot, shredded
1 small onion, sliced or diced
1 celery stalk
1T salt, 1/4t pepper --1 bay leaf
Pour in enough water to cover and cook for 30 minutes  and add milk

(2 cups soup when done.)
.
