This first o' February morn we awoke to what winter is all about-- SNOW!! Whilst I'm far from a fan of ice and hazardous conditions, I do love a bit o' snow--it makes the freakin' freezin' worthwhile, so pretty! For a few days, tis a winter wonderland, exciting and wonderful....and then....well, may spring come quickly :)

So, today will find a big batch o' chili simmerin' atop the stove, cheesy bread bakin' to go with said chili and probably some cookies or the like to top things off--I must cook and cook lots in such weather!!
The snow sounds beautiful. Has been a loooong time since I saw any snow close up. You can see it in the mountains.

I want snow!! we hardly ever get snow!, I cant believe how mild it is - i have flowers blooming in the garden already!. the cheese bread sound yummy! Thanks for letting me know what superbowl and tailgate parties are - makes sense now!!!!
